Children’s Museum is responsible for facilitating the role-playing experience for children 0-8 years of age and will be assigned to work in one of the main exhibits. Such as facilitating learning through play within the exhibit space really taking on and “acting” the role of their chosen
community helper clean up and resetting of the exhibit space to ensure that all props and supplies necessary to facilitate play are easily available to the guests and are set-up in a safe manner providing assistance in ensuring that the exhibit is ready for facilitated activities which may be taking place within
the exhibit by helping to make sure that activities are prepped for and all materials are available for the execution of all the activities scheduled for the day in that exhibit (particularly in the art studio)This person will interface with children, staff, volunteers and school staff to provide a fun and creative environment for all visitors.

I am emailing you because my friends and I started our own club called Raising Awareness for Animal Wellness. We focus on volunteering at animal shelters as well as spreading awareness through social media and our online website. As we were looking for students who would be interested in joining us, I remembered being part of NJHS, and I was wondering if you share this volunteer opportunity with the current members.Students who come to volunteer will definitely be able to get their volunteer hours, but they must be 13 years or older. HARVESTING VOLUNTEERS
Kids of all ages, singles and families, schools, church groups, youth clubs
and corporate volunteers can help us plant, weed and harvest at
the Incredible Edible Park in Irvine, every week.
• Tuesdays and Fridays from 9-11, groups of up to 40.
• Thursdays from 3:15-4:30, groups of up to 15.
• Saturdays and Sundays, twice a month, from 9-11, groups of up to 20.Individuals are welcome to join in with scheduled groups.
Depending on the season, you’ll be planting seeds or smaller plants, picking weeds, or harvesting broccoli, carrots, onions, strawberries, cabbage, chili peppers, green beans, watermelons and pumpkins. Occasionally, we harvest lemons and oranges from the citrus groves of the Centennial Museum in Santa Ana.Please call our Volunteer Office to schedule your group or sign up individually at 949 653-2900. Sorry, we can not schedule through email.
