Welcome to Ladera Vista!

(Week 01, Quarter 01)

If you are a bit nervous about coming to a new school, you are not alone! This week will focus on getting to know the layout of our school, where to go if you need help, and orient you with the expectations we have here.

This week we will not follow our usual bell schedule; we have special schedules for different activities that are planned. Don't worry! We'll help you get to exactly where you need to be each day. By the end of the week, you'll know where all of your classes are, where to eat lunch, and you might have started some new (and lasting) friendships. 

There won't be a lot of "academic" work this week. We mainly want you to settle in and begin to feel comfortable in your new home away from home. Next week, we'll cover some geography basics before jumping in to start our study of the end of the Roman empire.
