Hello! 

I am Mrs. Moon and I am so excited to be a Kindergarten teacher here at Fisler!

I absolutely love teaching, especially kindergarten, because I love sowing into the beginning journey of students' academic life! My kindergarten teacher, Mrs. M., played an important role in my life. She created an environment where I felt loved and safe to make mistakes and try new things. In G3, I hope to provide a space where my kiddos know that they are truly cared for and believed in. 

Fun Facts About Me:

• I love to spend time with my family. My husband and I have a sweet 1 year old son, named Micah, and will be welcoming a new baby in February 2023! :)
• I love the outdoors! When I'm not in the classroom I'm usually outside soaking in nature's beauty. I have been camping since I was 2 years old and my family and I still visit the same camp ground every year. 
• I love to travel. Every year, I try to venture out to somewhere new to learn more about the big, wonderful world we live in. I have been fortunate enough to travel to 10+ states and 5+ countries. 
• Coffee - one of my biggest supporter.  It has gotten me through my bachelor's degree and teaching credential from Cal State Fullerton and my master's degree from GCU!
• I am a lifelong learner and love to learn! I am currently learning to play the guitar right now. 
• Dancing has always been my favorite! I started dancing in the 3rd grade and absolutely fell in love. To this day, I still dance but usually only at home! 
• 3 years ago, I picked up journaling and hand lettering and now I do it everyday. It has become a part of my lifestyle. I love to journal to reflect, process, and share what's on my heart whether it be through writing, drawing, or lettering. My new hobby is making personalized cards for people! 

I can't wait to get to know my sweet kinder kiddos and the families this year!
