Mrs. Hayoung Oh

Welcome to first grade! My name is Mrs. Oh and I am excited to be your child’s teacher this year. This is my 7th year in the classroom and I have taught 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade. I was born in South Korea and moved to the United States when I was 6 years old. I was raised in Fullerton and attended Fern Drive, Parks Jr. High, and Sunny Hills. I received my Masters of Arts in Teaching degree from UCI and furthered my studies at UCLA. I enjoy singing, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends. My philosophy in teaching is to always be student centered and to create a positive environment where students feel empowered to learn, grow, and become passionate lifelong learners and creative problem solvers.
