Introducing her students’ number one fan…Mrs. Lorraine Gire! Mrs. Gire is in her 20^th year of teaching in the Fullerton School District. She earned her bachelor’s degree, multiple subject teaching credential, and master’s degree in Reading Education from California State University, Fullerton. Mrs. Gire is always in pursuit of ways to strengthen and deepen her teaching craft. She has trained and studied the writing workshop at Teachers College, Columbia University in New York. Mrs. Gire has also attained her Google Educator Level 1 certificate and is an alumni for the Cotsen Foundation Art of Teaching program.  Mrs. Gire loves teaching and inspiring students to maintain a growth mindset, as well as becoming a positive member of the community. Outside of the classroom, Mrs. Gire enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two children. They enjoy traveling, being near the water, playing outdoors, or just relaxing at home.
