Encore: The Lab Before & After School Programs

-
The purpose of expanded learning programs for school-age children is to provide enrichment opportunities. Recreation and education experiences are designed to have carryover value that provides intrinsic protective factors and support the development of resiliency skills. Children will have a myriad of possibilities investigating the arts, math, science, social engagement and other curricula. Through active participation, children will learn to make appropriate choices during their leisure time. The goal of the program is to expand the learning environment and link activities to areas of study at school.
We have Encore: The Lab located on the following school campuses: Acacia, Beechwood, Fern Drive, Golden Hill, Robert C. Fisler (no before school care), Hermosa (no before school care), Laguna Road, Rolling Hills, and Sunset Lane Elementary Schools.
Our programs offer before school care (with a minimum enrollment) from 7:00 a.m. until school begins, and open again at school dismissal until 6:00 pm.
Expanded Learning will provide opportunities for multi-week camps throughout the school year at the Encore: Lab locations. Information about participating in these camps will be shared at the beginning of each trimester. Please be on the lookout for more information.
