Mrs. Cathy Wilson

Welcome! My name is Catherine Wilson and I have been teaching for 24 years.  I have taught 5th grade for the past 17 years and I have previously taught third grade and kindergarten.  I received my bachelor's degree from CSUF and my Master's Degree from the University of New England.  Some hobbies of mine are dancing, listening to music, reading, spending time with my family, and traveling.  My favorite thing about teaching 5th graders are the daily interactions with your kiddos. In 5th grade, their passions, interests, personalities and how capable they are of such impectable work, inspires me daily.  Teaching upper grade is about self discovery of ones passion and learning how to set and achieve goals. I love my teaching team and my goal is to make each day memorable by finding fun ways to explore new content and develop students as strong readers, writers and mathematians. With our clear eyes and full hearts, we can't lose!
