Mrs. Celia Duarte

I am a dedicated educator with over a decade of experience in the field of education. Having spent 10 years as a paraeducator, I developed a deep understanding of student needs and the importance of personalized support in the classroom. This experience inspired me to pursue a teaching degree from Western Governors University (WGU), where I honed my skills and knowledge to transition into a full-time teaching role.

As a teacher, I am passionate about creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where all students can thrive. My background as a paraeducator gives me a unique perspective on how to connect with students, particularly those who require additional support.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family, which includes two wonderful children, Ezekiel and Xochilt, and two beloved pets—a cat, Nova, and a dog, Bluey. I am an avid hiker, often exploring the great outdoors with my family, and also have a passion for painting, finding creative expression in art.

With a strong commitment to education, a love for the outdoors, and a creative spirit, I bring a well-rounded and empathetic approach to teaching, making a positive impact on the lives of my students every day.
