Hello N8 Families, 

Welcome to second grade! I am excited to be your child's teacher this year. Although we are not starting the year in person, as we usually do, we are going to have a great year together! 

I attended California State University, Fullerton for most of my education. I earned a B.S. in Child and Adolescent Studies and my teaching credential from CSUF. I completed my student teaching in our same classroom, N8.  I later returned to CSUF to earn an M.S. in Educational Technology. 

This year is my 15th year teaching.  Time sure flies when you are having fun! I have taught 5th grade for five years, 4th grade for four years, and this will be my sixth year teaching 2nd grade. I am looking forward to getting to know your child and working with your family this year. 

I have two young sons at home. Benjamin is six years old and is starting 1st grade at Fisler. Vincent is four years old and is finishing his last year in preschool. My sons keep me on my toes, but also young at heart. We love to be active as a family and are often on the go.  

In my spare time, my favorite place to go is Disneyland.  Since the closure, I have been spending time at local parks and having picnics and scooter rides. I also enjoy traveling and look forward to the days when we can travel again. 

​Teaching has always been a passion of mine. I knew I wanted to be a teacher since I was eight years old.  I hope to foster a love for learning in your child.
