Classroom Gotchas

  • Students can earn Gotchas when they exemplify what it means to be a Fern Drive Falcon and follow the 4 school rules - Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Safe, and Be Kind. Students can earn Gotchas when they do well on a test or complete skills on IXL.

    GOTCHA BOX!!! Students can redeem Gotchas for prizes on Gotcha Day. Once a month, they can redeem their Gotchas from our class Treasure Box, which include crochet toys made by me. Students with 20 Gotchas can redeem their Gotchas for "Lunch with Mrs. Campos" instead of a prize from the Treasure Box.

    Students who are disruptive will be redirected with verbal cues. Any extreme behaviors will receive an FYI to notify parents.

  • Class Gotchas

    As a class, students can earn class Gotchas. These will be kept at school. Class Gotcha is a way to promote community effort.  

    Examples of ways to earn class Gotchas:

    • Daily perfect attendance.
    • No tardies.
    • Every student is on task.
    • Walking quietly and orderly from class to class.
    • Keeping the class lunch bench clean.

    Once the class earns 20 class Gotchas, the class will vote on a prize.  Prizes can be Pajama Day, Share a Book Day, Movies and Popcorn, etc...
