Your child will be taking a Homework folder to and from school every day. Many of the assignments that are not completed in class will become homework.  Paper assignments will be kept in your child’s homework folder and digital assignments will be found in Google Classroom. At the end of each day students will be given time to take a screenshot of the assignments they need to assure have been completed for the day (homework). Each night we ask that your child shares this screenshot with a parent or guardian and that you initial their monthly Homework Calendar.  The best way to view your child’s digital assignments is to log into Google Classroom as your student or simply using your child’s school device. Please discuss with your child the need for prompt completion of all assignments. In order to receive full credit, assignments must be turned in on the day they are due. Students who are absent can check for assignments on Google Classroom. It is your child’s responsibility to see me the following day to collect any other assignments and turn in assignments from the previous night. 

Please see that your child has a quiet area at home to complete his/her homework. He/she will benefit from parental support in this very important area. Our goal for him/her is to develop lifelong effective study habits.
