About me / Sobre mi

Bienvenidos a la clase de la maestra Rada. Es un placer para mí estar con ustedes este año.  Ser maestra no solo es un trabajo, es una pasión y un gran privilegio. Es un honor ser parte del aprendizaje de estas pequeñas personas que algún día llegaran a ser profesionales y me enorgullece ser parte de eso.

Yo nací en Colombia, llegue a los Estados Unidos a la edad de 13 años y se lo gratificante, lo difícil e importante que es saber dos idiomas.

Hice mi Bachiller en la Universidad de California, Santa Barbara. Mi credential y una maestría en Educación Bilingüe en la Universidad de Loyola Marymount. Este es mi noveno año enseñando primer grado en el programa de Immersion Dual de Español. Estoy muy feliz y encantada de ser parte de la familia de Raymond.  

Yo sé que en este momento estamos pasando por momentos inusuales, pero también se que juntos haremos de este año un éxito.

Welcome to Mrs. Rada's class. It is a pleasure to be here with all of you this year. Being a teacher is not just a job, it is a passion and a privilege. It is an honor to be part of the learning of all of these little people that one day will be professionals and I take pride in being part of that.

I was born in Colombia, I came to the United States at the age of 13 and I know how gratifying, hard and important is to learn two or more languages.  

I did my undergrad at the University of California, Santa Barbara. I did my teaching credential and my bilingual education masters at Loyola Marymount University. This is my 9th year teaching 1st grade in the Dual Immersion program. I am very happy and thrilled to be part of the Raymond family. 

I know we are experiencing unprecedented times at the moment, but I know that together we can make this year a success.
