Ms. Wrobel

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year. My name is Ms. Wrobel, and I am a Speech-Language Pathologist at Hermosa Drive. I am truly proud and honored to be a Hermosa Hawk for more than 15 years!

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from Whittier College and a Master of Arts in Communicative Disorders from California State University, Fullerton. It is extremely rewarding to see my students improve their communication skills as they learn to say new sounds, develop social skills, or expand their understanding and use of language. I am eager to create new and exciting opportunities for learning in our speech room. While many of my students are continuing with me again this year, I also look forward to getting to know all of our new students as well. We will be hard at work on our speech and language goals, and I can’t wait to see the progress the students make. I am grateful to have the opportunity to help my students build communication skills that they are able to use with friends and teachers here at school as well as family at home.

When I am not working with my students, you will find me in the garden. You could say I have a “green thumb.” I am excited to share my love for gardening with our Hawks during Garden Club each week. I enjoy growing all types of plants, flowers (especially roses), fruits, and vegetables. I spend my free time quilting, working on DIY home projects, and cooking. I also adore spending time with my family, friends, and miniature schnauzer, Hazel.
