Welcome to Kindergarten! I was once a kindergartener just like you. (see picture!)

Kindergarten is such a fun, special, place. I have been a Kindergarten teacher for 11 years, and I absolutely love Kindergartners. The growth and transformation that takes place during the year is amazing! Teaching little learners to read, write, count, and genuinely love learning is so much fun. Kindergarten is wild and there is never a dull moment. The innocence and gentleness, paired with the wild and crazy makes each and every year so fun!

A little history about me- I have my Bachelor's degree from Biola University, and my Master's degree from GCU. I consider myself a lifelong learner and will never stop exploring and learning new ways to impact the education of little learners. 

Laguna Road is a special school. I have taught here for 9 school years and consider this place my second home. The culture and climate of this school is extremely inclusive, kind, and warm. The teachers, families, and students are like a family, and I love that!

Personally, I have many hobbies! I absolutely love to travel. I have been to 26 countries! I also enjoy being outdoors- camping, hiking, backpacking, boating, kayaking, etc. You can always find me outside! I also love country music and line dancing. I have a wonderful husband, two HUGE newfoundland dogs, and a cat. My dogs are my whole heart- they drool on everything and sit in my lap, despite the fact that they are each 120 pounds! Lastly, I love food!! I love trying foods from all over the world and I enjoy cooking something new every single night- it's how I wind down and relax!
