I am honored to be the full time KDLA TOSA this year to support Laguna Road's Korean Dual Language Academy! As a language learner all my life, I feel passionate about learning alongside teachers and students to grow our identities, and become life-long learners. I am committed to supporting school/district leadership, teachers, and parents to together build an innovative Korean program that is student and community focused, so students can better know themselves and impact their community. I believe that powerful teacher learning is the precursor to powerful student learning, and love to cultivate deep learning alongside teachers.

This is my 15th year as a bilingual educator in K-5 classrooms and spent 5 years as a teacher in Korean Dual classrooms. This is my 5th year at Laguna Road and I have 3 years of previous experience as a TOSA providing professional development, curriculum development, and coaching teachers, which I am very passionate about. 

I love good food, cute coffee shops, writing, and listening to Korean R&B music.I received my M.Ed. at University of California, Los Angeles and my Bachelors degree at University of California, Riverside. In my spare time, you will also find me taking walks to the park or sitting on the beach with my family. I am proud to be Cotsen Alumni.
