School Site Council (SSC)

School Site Council (SSC) is an organization composed of both school staff and parents that provides input and direction for Sunset Lane. SSC has the ongoing responsibility to review with the principal, teachers, and other school personnel, the implementation of the Single Plan for Student Achievement and to assess periodically the effectiveness of the program. SSC also annually reviews and revises the Single Plan for Student Achievement to see that it is consistent with the Education Code, and if necessary, makes modifications in the plan to reflect changing needs and priorities. Additionally, SSC monitors and approves the school budget and annually reviews the School Safety Plan.
 
SSC meetings for the 2023-24 school year have been scheduled on the following Tuesdays:

• September 26, 2023 @ 3:15 p.m.
• November 7, 2023 @ 3:15 p.m.
• January 23, 2024 @ 3:15 p.m.
• April 2, 2024 @ 3:15 p.m.
