Course Description
Parks Junior High has two choir opportunities to offer our students.  ​Concert Choir (Choir 1) is open to all students, and Les Chanteurs (Choir 2), is an audition-based class for students with previous singing and performing experience.  Choral students will perform music in a variety of genres, study music theory, vocabulary, music history, and grow as musicians in the classroom and on stage.  They will perform in various concerts throughout the year, including a winter concert, festivals, and a show choir concert.  A highlight for Les Chanteurs students is the opportunity to participate in a Disney Performing Arts Soundtrack Vocal Session in a backstage studio, followed by enjoying the day at a Disney park! 

Parks students who have previous piano experience may also audition to be a Piano Accompanist for one of the choirs.  Piano accompanists assist the choir students with their vocal parts in class and have the opportunity to accompany the choir in concerts throughout the year.
