Meet Mrs. Hauser English

I received my Associate of Arts (A.A.) in Letters, Arts, & Sciences from Antelope Valley College, my Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Liberal Arts, California State Teaching Credentials in Special Education: Mild/Moderate Disabilities from Chapman University, a Masters in Education (M.Ed.) in Advanced Special Education from Concordia University-Portland, and will soon complete my Doctorate of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership with a specialization in Higher Education. I absolutely love learning and believe that goal setting and self-determination are the key ingredients to achieving anything we set out minds to. 

I am in my 17th year of teaching, with this being my 10th year in Fullerton School District. I have taught Pre-school through 8th grade and have served communities in Riverside County, Colorado State, and Orange County. My experience also includes mentoring future teachers, hosting university students, serving on building leadership, PBIS team, Family and Community Engagement, High Reliability School Team, and much more. In short, I look for opportunities to support our students and families, to develope my skills (both personally and professionally), and love every moment of it.

Although learning and teaching are personal passions of mine, I am also a dedicated wife and mother. Outside of work, Mr. Hauser is often found helping chase after our dogs, searching the dollar spot at Target for classroom materials, going to Lakeshore Learning, or putting in late nights to help me prepare materials for students.

In addition to my wonderful husband, I have 3 amazing children! My youngest son will soon be graduating from CSUF with his Bachelor's in Psychology and will attend Pepperdine University in Spring 2023 where he will complete his Master's in Clinical Psychology. My daughter is in the Air Force, (finally stationed within driving distance), and will hopefully avoid another deployment and be home for the holidays this year. Last but not least is my eldest son who work for a major sunglasses/athletic company and is working toward his degree in IT. 

And, to complete our family unit, I have three beautiful dogs who greet me every morning as I leave for work and bark with excitement and wagging tails when I come home. Kona is a 4 year old Belgian Malinois. He loves receiving treats, gives High Five, and can entertain himself with a tennis ball for hours. Chip is a 3 year old Belgian Malinois who has endless amounts of energy. He seems to forget that he is 90 lbs of muscle and not a tiny lap dog. And last but not least in our 1 year old Collie, Dougal. He is such a gentle, yet very playful and has balanced out the bunch. He loves any form of attention...and treats! My dogs remind me that no matter how young...or how old...life is always an adventure and there is always something new to learn and explore.

Recibí mi Asociado en Artes (A.A.) en Letras, Artes y Ciencias de Antelope Valley College, mi Licenciatura en Artes (B.A.) en Artes Liberales, Credenciales de Enseñanza del Estado de California en Educación Especial: Discapacidades leves/moderadas de Chapman University, una Maestría en Educación (M.Ed.) en Educación Especial Avanzada de la Universidad de Concordia-Portland, ¡y pronto completaré mi Doctorado en Educación (Ed.D)! Me encanta aprender y creo que el establecimiento de metas y la autodeterminación son los ingredientes clave para lograr cualquier cosa que nos propongamos.

Estoy en mi decimosexto año de enseñanza y este es mi noveno año en el Distrito Escolar de Fullerton. He enseñado de todo, desde el autismo preescolar hasta el octavo grado. Además, cada verano he trabajado enseñando ESY en las clases de Pre-K/Kinder Autismo M/M y M/S y ya he tenido el placer de conocer o trabajar con algunos de nuestros compañeros de clase a lo largo de los años.

Aunque aprender y enseñar son mis pasiones personales, también soy una esposa y madre dedicada. Cuando no está trabajando, ayudando a perseguir a nuestros perros y siendo mi mejor amigo, a menudo se lo encuentra ayudando a buscar en los contenedores de dólares en Target, yendo a Lakeshore Learning o trasnochando para ayudarme a preparar materiales para los estudiantes.

¡Además de mi maravilloso esposo, tengo 3 hijos increíbles! Mi hijo menor pronto se graduará de CSUF con su Licenciatura en Psicología y asistirá a la Universidad de Pepperdine en la primavera de 2023, donde completará su Maestría en Psicología Clínica. Mi hija está en la Fuerza Aérea (finalmente estacionada a poca distancia en automóvil) y, con suerte, evitará otro despliegue y estará en casa para las vacaciones de este año. Por último, pero no menos importante, está mi hijo mayor, que trabaja para una importante empresa de gafas de sol/atletismo y está trabajando para obtener su título en TI.

Y, para completar nuestra unidad familiar, tengo tres hermosos perros que me saludan todas las mañanas cuando salgo para el trabajo y ladran emocionados y mueven la cola cuando llego a casa. Sasha es una Golden Retriever de 14 años. Ella ha sido parte de nuestra familia desde que tenía 8 semanas y, a pesar de su edad, todavía tiene energía y le encanta acostarse a mis pies. Kona es un pastor belga malinois de 3 años. Le encanta recibir golosinas, choca los cinco y puede entretenerse con una pelota de tenis durante horas. Mi último bebé peludo es Chip, un malinois belga de 2 años. Como el "bebé" del grupo, él es el más grande, tiene el impulso más alto y ladra más fuerte, pero es el insecto más grande para abrazar. Parece olvidar que pesa 90 libras de músculo y no un pequeño perro faldero. Mis perros me recuerdan que no importa cuán jóvenes... o cuán viejos... la vida siempre es una aventura y siempre hay algo nuevo que aprender y explorar.
