Positive Behavior Intervention Supports (PBIS) is the pillar of our foundation at Orangethorpe. PBIS is a system that helps us to create a positive school culture, a safe learning environment, a positive and welcoming campus, and promote positive social habits within our students. Through setting clear structure and expectations, continual modeling and reinforcement, positive behaviors are acknowledged and rewarded in ways that are meaningful to students individually and collectively. Take a moment to talk to your child about the "ORCA WAY"; review the attached behavior matrix and help encourage your child to make positive decisions- even in the light of set backs when they occur. 

Los Apoyos de Intervención para el Comportamiento Positivo (PBIS, por sus siglas en inglés) son el pilar de nuestra fundación en Orangethorpe. PBIS es un sistema que nos ayuda a crear una cultura escolar positiva, un entorno de aprendizaje seguro, un plantel positivo y acogedor, y promover hábitos sociales positivos en nuestros estudiantes. Mediante el establecimiento de una estructura y expectativas claras, el modelado y el refuerzo continuos, los comportamientos positivos se reconocen y recompensan de maneras que son significativas para los estudiantes de forma individual y colectiva. Tómese un momento para hablar con su hijo sobre el "ESTILO ORCA"; revise la matriz de comportamiento adjunta y ayude a animar a su hijo a tomar decisiones positivas, incluso a la luz de los contratiempos cuando ocurran.
