Homework Policy
Homework is written down daily at the end of the school day. Students are specifically given time at the end of the day to copy down the homework and ask clarifying questions about homework. Students are responsible for and expected to write down the homework in their planner. It is suggested to students to place it in the front of their flexi folder. Not writing down the homework can result in a referral. Late work is accepted for a week. Any late work not turned in within a week will not be accepted. If students are unable to complete classwork/practice in class during the time given, it may be assigned for homework.
Fifth Grade Homework Policy
Fifth grade homework is designed to reinforce the skills taught in the classroom as well extend them. Our expectation is that all students complete their homework assignments independently according to the homework guideline explained below. Modifications made to student's homework is left up to both the teacher and parent. If your child is struggling at home to complete their assignments, please notify the teacher. Together, modifications will be made to make homework more successful for your child.
