7th Grade Science Honors covers the major areas of geology, chemistry, and biology.

Honors curriculum includes exploring the topics in greater depth (where appropriate) with emphasis on scientific language (root words), historical basis for science discovery, the link between science and mathematical computations, and project decisions.

The curriculum can be accessed via the Amplify online program and the Unit Workbook. Students will be able to access Amplify through their Clever portal using their iPads.

Unit workbooks contain resource information in the form of science articles and also daily warm-ups, data collection for investigating claims, and summative pages where students explain their reasoning for a claim using evidence.

• Matter and Energy in Ecosystems

Students must bring the current workbook with them each day for classroom participation and learning.
