Mrs. Wang

Hello 6th graders!

I am Mrs. Wang aka Chung, your new 6th grade teacher and I can't wait to take this journey alongside you this year!  I hope you had a wonderful and restful summer and you are ready to learn new things, grow into your strengths with challenges, and meet new lifelong friends!  I am here to help and guide you through whatever it is you need. Your feelings and happiness always matter in room 109.  I can't wait to meet you in person and learn all about you!

As for me, I am married with 2 kids (Ever is in 4th grade and Celeste is in 8th grade) and two furbabies named Rory and Harlow. We had a wonderful time this summer adventuring out to Korea and Japan! Visiting family and making memories together was heart warming.  We also got to go camping in Big Sur where there was no wifi!  We really enjoyed the time away from technology, and immersed ourselves in nature rafting down the river, talking by the campfire, hiking, and playing boardgames!  It was exactly what we needed! I can say I am refreshed and recharged to hit the ground running to start this new school year with you!  I have been teaching since 2005! Can you do the math?!  I am so excited and can't wait for the first week of school!  It's okay to feel nervous and anxious because I feel the same too!  We are going to have a great year together!
