Mr. Brian Mangino

Greetings Nicolas and Fullerton families! 

I have been a special education teacher in FSD for 20 years and this is my second year at Nicolas Junior High. I have worked with students from ages four to fourteen, and I love working with unique learners within the diverse community of Fullerton. I live in downtown Fullerton with my wife and 4-year-old daughter. My wife is a Fullerton music educator working for All the Arts and has been running a whimsical after-school choir program at Acacia School for 12 years. My wife and I love working to help bring the community together through education and music.  I work hard to create an environment where students in Jr. High feel safe and comfortable in my classroom and can be supported, socially, emotionally, and academically. My favorite part of working at Nicolas is the teamwork that is completely essential to support these needs, and I am proud to be a part of the Knight Nation.
