Birthday Policy

A birthday is a special occasion for a young child. However, we would like to enforce the following guidelines for birthdays so that our daily routines and learning times are not disrupted.

The following are NOT allowed at school:

• No balloons
• No treats/bakedgoods
• No goodie bags
• No drinks
• No decorations

It is school policy that birthdays parties are not allowed in the school. We also cannot share email addresses or contact information of other students.

***Invitations: If you will be sharing invitations, please do so at your own convenience either before or after school. The teachers will not distribute invitations on your child's behalf.

If you would still like to do something to celebrate, you might consider a birthday book for the class. Your child can help select the book, put his/ her name and picture inside the cover and wrap it up as a present to the class on his/her big day. The book will be shared with the class and added to the special Birthday Books Basket. Any book is welcome- new or used!
