Mrs. Emerson

My name is Mrs. Emerson and I am so excited to return to Orangethorpe Elementary teaching 3rd grade! During my first years teaching, I taught the 4, 5, 6 Multiage class, 5th grade, and I am very excited for my first year as a 3rd grade teacher.

I grew up in Michigan's Upper Peninsula and attended Northern Michigan University. After completing my student teaching in New Zealand, I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree and moved to California in 2017. I also completed my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction through Western Governors University in 2020. 

When I am not teaching, I love to learn and try new things. Most recently, I've taken up snowboarding and crocheting. I love going on road trips and camping with my husband and our dogs, Prudy and June!
