Hello, my name is Mr. Snyder.  I have been teaching at Nicolas for 6 years.  At the end of every year, I am inspired by my students and colleagues to grow and develop as an educator.  This year I am teaching Math 8 and Algebra 1.  

My favorite part of teaching is to see students grow and develop confidence and a love for learning.  In my classroom, students are challenged to collaborate together by sharing ideas and modeling their thinking to encourage others to be successful.  

I believe it is important to cultivate a classroom where all students feel safe and comfortable, so learning can be optimized to the highest degree for each student.  I am eager and excited to see student growth and success.
