Write your writing piece on the Google Doc titled CLEMENTE DISTRICT WRITING BENCHMARK #1 in Google Classroom.
Write your FIRST and LAST NAME in the top right hand corner.
Write your ELA 8 teacher underneath your first and last name: Mr. Clemente
Students will write an impromptu (spontaneous; unrehearsed) writing piece. Students will follow the writing directions: TASK, DIRECTIONS for BEGINNING, & ASSIGNMENT. Read those three instructions carefully, outline your writing piece, (spend no longer than 20 minutes outlining the writing piece), and begin writing using all the skills practiced for this writing piece. The District Benchmark counts as a grade.
