Grading Policy

    • 70% Summative Assessments (tests, quizzes, projects, khan academy quizzes, etc.)
    • 30% Formative Assessment (practice work, homework, class work, IXL, participation, etc.)

    Grade Breakdown

    • A - 89.5 - 100%
    • B - 79.5 - 89.8%
    • C - 69.5 - 79.8%
    • D - 59 - 69.9%

Assignments

    1. All assignments will be posted on GOOGLE CLASSROOM
    2. Complete assignments IN PENCIL, ON TIME and turn in pictures/PDFs on Google Classroom. If absent, turn in upon returning to school. Absent work is given full credit 
    3. Partial Credit given to late assignment.
    4. Student is responsible for correcting all assignments using COLORED INK and seeking help as needed.

Classroom Expectations

    1. Be on time and line up outside the classroom.
    2. Walk in quietly and go directly to your seat.
    3. Open your agenda and write your homework. 
    4. Begin work right away, follow instructions and stay on task.
    5. Raise your hand for questions.
    6. No eating in class.
    7. Show respect at all times.
    8. Remain quietly seated until dismissed at the end of the class.
    9. Follow C.A.R.E. expectations.

    • Linear, Quadratic, and Exponential Models
    • Linear Functions, Slopes

    4. STATISTICS and PROBABILITY

    • Interpreting Categorical and Quantitative Data

Academic Expectations

    1. Bring a fully charged iPad to school each day.
    2. Textbook downloaded to Notability.
    3. Assignments finished, corrected, and turned-in on time.
    4. Take notes from class & assignments then organize them in Math Notebook/binder.
    5. Review them to study for exams.
    6. 5. Take your time to learn but don’t waste time.

    Supplies (Recommended):

    • Math notebook and/or three-ring binder with notebook paper.
    • Writing supplies: sharpened pencils, eraser, small pencil sharpener, highlighter, colored pen, stylus and ruler/straight edge.
