INNOVATION DESCRIPTION

  • This program is important to Fullerton School District students because it provides an opportunity during summer months for students to extend and enrich learning around topics that are high interest and exciting for students.

What is the most innovative feature of this program? 

  • The FSD GATE Summer Academy is designed to allow students the opportunity to explore, make, and create. The Academy will be dedicated to imagination and self-discovery with an emphasis on design thinking. Students will define a need focused on the Global Goals for Sustainable Development, develop a plan, and create a prototype based on personal exploration.
