Fullerton School District Announces Open Enrollment for the 2025-26 School Year
Open Enrollment for Parenting OC’s Best School District in North Orange County will be from Jan. 13 through Feb. 14, 2025.
The Fullerton School District (FSD), named Parenting OC’s Best School District in North Orange County for two years in a row, has announced its Open Enrollment period for the 2025-26 school year, which will run from January 13 to February 14, 2025. Open Enrollment allows families to apply to have their student attend a school within FSD that best fits their needs. Applications are conveniently available online through the district’s website at www.fullertonsd.org during the Open Enrollment window.
New for Junior High Families Enrolling in FSD
In a move designed to simplify the process, approved transfers for junior high in FSD will now cover the entire two-year grade span. This means families won’t need to reapply when transitioning from 7th to 8th grade—a win for convenience and stability for FSD’s junior high students.
Introducing a New Enrollment Feature for Families Working in Fullerton
Parents or guardians working at a job physically situated within the Fullerton School District attendance boundaries for at least 10 hours per week now have an exciting new way to enroll their students in FSD schools. The Allen Bill option opens doors for families to benefit from FSD’s outstanding and award-winning educational programs without the cumbersome process of requesting an interdistrict permit from the school district their student presently attends. Intradistrict Transfers
An Intradistrict Transfer is the process used for families currently residing in Fullerton to apply for their student(s) to attend a different FSD school than their student currently attends. More information on the Intradistrict Transfer process can be found at bit.ly/FSDINTRAdistrictTransfer.
Interdistrict Transfers
For families that do not reside in Fullerton but want their student to attend school in FSD, or for current FSD families that would like their student to attend a non-FSD school, the Interdistrict Transfer process is used.
