Is Fullerton School District required to teach comprehensive sexual health education and HIV/AIDS prevention education?
Yes. Under Education Code section 51934, each school district shall ensure that all pupils in grades 7 and 8 shall receive this instruction at least once. In Fullerton School District, we teach comprehensive sexual health education in Grade 7 as we have done in prior years.
