Can parents opt-out their child from comprehensive sexual health education?

Parents can opt-out their child from comprehensive sexual health education by letting the sexual health education teacher or the school office know their decision. Parents can opt-pout their child from all sessions or two or more sessions. However, parents cannot opt-out their child from the sexual orientation lesson only.For opt-out students, an alternative lesson in the area of science or health will be provided in another classroom. Grades will be based on the work completed for the alternative lesson.
