Staying Active, Staying Healthy
Physical activity plays a key role in helping students grow into strong, healthy, and confident individuals. At Fullerton School District, we encourage all students to make movement a part of their daily routine—both at school and at home.
Health guidelines recommend that children and teens get at least 60 minutes of moderate to vigorous physical activity each day. This can include activities like brisk walking, biking, dancing, organized sports, or active play.
The benefits of regular physical activity go far beyond physical health. Students who are active tend to experience:
-
Improved focus and academic performance
-
Stronger muscles and bones
-
Better emotional well-being
-
A lower risk of obesity and chronic illness
We’re proud to support active learning environments across our campuses.
