GATE Talent Academies

  • The Fullerton School District GATE Office is proud to present the 2024-25 GATE Talent Academies.  The GATE Talent Academies are designed to enhance the FSD GATE learning experience through targeted student-interest based academies. Each Academy will be lead by a team of FSD educational experts (including district staff and FSD teachers) and field specialists who will bring a unique lens to the learning environment.

  • GATE Saturday Talent Academies: Leadership for the Future
     
    GATE Talent Academies will be held 8:00-12:00 am at Hermosa Drive Elementary School.  For individual Academy Flyers, please see below.
     
    Registration Links will be live two weeks prior to each event.

Registration Information

  • Registration will be by Lottery for each Academy. Please only enter the Lottery if your child is available to attend the Academy for the full four hours.

    Lottery Link will open at 12:00 PM (noon) on the date specified. The link will remain open for 48 hours.  

    Please sign up your child only one (1) time for their assigned grade level. If you sign up for the Lottery more than one time, your entries will be deleted.

    You will receive an automated confirmation page immediately, notifying you that your child has been entered into the Lottery.   

    At the end of the 48-hours (Wednesday at noon) approximately 25 participants from each grade level will be randomly selected from the lottery to participate in the GATE Saturday Talent Academy. 

    If you are selected, you will be notified using the email you provided by Friday at noon.  There will not be a Wait List.  If we have cancellations we will use the lottery system for contacting families to fill those spaces. 

     

    **The Lottery for the November 2 GATE Academy will open at 12:00 noon on Monday, October 21, 2024.  Please come back at that time and complete this form.  

     

    The Lottery will stay open for 48 hours, from noon on 10/21/24 until noon on 10/23/24.  Families will be notified about Lottery status by Friday 10/25/24.
