What positions is FSD hiring for?
FSD is looking to fill the following positions:
- Instructional Assistant/Expanded Learning (after-school program aides)
- Instructional Assistant/Special Education (special education classroom aides)
- Instructional Assistant/General Education (preschool & kinder aides)
- Instructional Assistant/Recreation (PE aides)
- Playground Supervisors (recess/lunch monitors)

What should I bring?
- Government-issued ID
- Resume (optional)

How much time should I plan on being at the job fair?
- The application should take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete.
- If you would like to take advantage of our on-site testing and interviews, be prepared to be available between two and four (2-4) hours, depending on the position(s) you apply for.

What if I can’t stay for the job fair?
- If you are unable to stay for the job fair or complete the entire process for your desired position(s), please speak to one of our representatives at the check-in table before leaving for further assistance.

How should I prepare for the job fair?
- You should arrive at the job fair dressed in business casual attire. Interviews will be conducted on-site, so it is best to be dressed for the occasion, should you be invited to interview.
- Know you can take a breather if you need one. Exit/re-entry will be allowed at the job fair, so if you need a moment to collect your thoughts or catch your breath before an interview or exam, you may do so.

What can I expect at the job fair?
- Our staff will be available to answer questions regarding our open positions and our application process.
- Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications will be invited to take the written proficiency exam in one of our testing rooms (exam time: approx. 1 hour and 20 mins).
- Applicants who pass the written proficiency exam will be invited to participate in either a recorded or in-person interview, depending on their desired position(s).

When will I hear back from an FSD recruiter?
- If you submit an application, but are unable to stay for testing or an interview, the FSD Classified HR team will contact you within 1-2 weeks (possibly sooner), following the job fair.
- If you submit a qualifying application and participate in testing and a recorded interview, the FSD Classified HR team will reach out to you, once your video has been reviewed and a job offer is sent to HR by the hiring manager.
- If you participate in an in-person interview, the FSD Classified HR team will reach out to you within 1-2 weeks (possibly sooner) following the job fair.
