Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP)
LCAP Community Input Process
-
Fullerton School District gathers input from the community in multiple ways, including:
-
Districtwide surveys for staff, students, and families are conducted annually
-
Direct feedback from families at district events such as the Champions for Children Block Party
FSD also values the participation of students, parents, community members, and staff in direct committee participation through:
-
The Superintendent’s Junior High Advisory Committee, made up of students from all junior high and TK-8 schools. This group meets multiple times over the school year at the district office. As part of their activities, students discuss key issues and provide feedback on LCAP goals.
-
The LCAP Advisory Committee, comprised of parents, community group representatives (i.e., PTA, ELAC, Champions), teachers, classified employees, and district staff.
-
The committee meets 4 times per school year. For the 2024-2025 school year they will meet on:
-
October 9, 2024
-
November 13, 2024
-
February 12, 2025
-
April 16, 2025
-
-
Both committees serve to examine community input and to make recommendations for actions and services for each LCAP year.
