Digital Citizenship and Double Blind Peer Review
Double Blind Peer Review is one aspect of StudySync that takes the program from being a direct substitute for a print textbook to a truly digital textbook. However, when students are allowed to comment on each other's work, there is valid concerns about how appropriate the students will be. Let's take the proactive approach and teach explicit expectations for digital citizenship. Both lessons are found on Common Sense Education website. I have downloaded the lessons for quick access.
You have a choice of two different lessons (and more can be found on the Common Sense Education website). Though they have set a grade span, the lessons are appropriate for Grades 6-8. Use whatever pieces is appropriate for your student population.
