Can Parents use the screen time feature on student devices?
Because Apple's Screen Time feature requires an individual student apple ID we do not use Screen Time on the student devices. However, through the ScreenGuide feature of our mobile device management (MDM) software (outlined above), parents can set time limits at night and on weekends to have greater control of their student's devices.

Student contracts for mobile devices
Student contracts for mobile devices
We suggest that any parent who gives their student a device should first agree on rules for that device and any consequences for breaking rules before a device is given and maybe rewards for great online behavior. We implore all parents to remember that you are in charge of the device and can take it away or lock it up at night or stop paying for service if the device is abused.
FSD Student Digital Responsibility Agreement
Please use the searches below, look at a number of contracts, then work with your student to create your own family contract.

Home Internet Filtering and Safety
Home Internet Filtering and Safety
All district student devices are filtered everywhere they go. However, we highly suggest that parents filter their home internet as well as their student's personal devices like phones. Please see the parent control resources area for phones control.
Your internet provider typically has a way to filter your internet at home. Please contact your provider or do an internet search for your provider and "internet filter". Or you can search for your provider and "parental controls"
Here is a search for Spectrum
You can also search to see if your email has been exposed in a data breach so you know to go change your passwords
