Preschool

  • The Fullerton School District's Preschool Program is implemented at 10 locations, where eight classrooms are funded by state and local sources, while the remaining two are supported through parent-paid tuition. The California Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division regulates all our preschools and must comply with Title 22 Health and Safety Regulations.

We have implemented various service models to address the community's diverse needs. These include three locations for the Part Day Preschool Program, two that host the Co-Teaching Preschool Program, and one featuring the Integrated Inclusive Program. Additionally, two locations offer the Full Day/Full Year Preschool Program and two Tuition-Based Programs.

The Preschool Program complies with Title 5 regulations, which require a 1:8 ratio, with one teacher and two instructional aides. Each session of the part-day preschool program sustains a maximum enrollment of 24 children, ensuring an adult-to-child ratio of 1 to 8.  Simultaneously, the Full Day/Full Year preschool program maintains a capacity of 24 children per classroom.
