Self Portrait Sketch

Due Date: Friday, March 15th
Directions: 
Step 1: Cut the 8.5 X 11 photo in half down the middle of your face. 

Step 2: Glue one half down onto a piece of white card stock paper.

Step 3: Notice the dark and light values in the photo.

Step 4: You may create a grid pattern on the blank side of your page to perfect the proportions. Use the strategy you learned on the Famous Person Sketch.

Step 6: With a pencil, begin sketching.  You may draw one box at a time or outline the entire image and then fill in with shading. 

Step 7: Continue adding VALUE with a pencil, to make your image look realistic.
