Surrealism Art

After studying Salvador Dalí and his art style, you will be creating your own Surrealism art. 

Your art piece must include one of each of the following three criteria: 

"You have to systematically create confusion.  It sets creativity FREE!!" - Salvador Dalí

1.  Depth- demonstrate one or more strategies to show 'space' in your art.

2.   Include one or more of the following surrealism strategies: 

Juxtaposition- 2 things that don't normally belong together
Symbolism- items have a meaning
Transformation- the process of change
Double Images- creates a visual puzzle and adds hidden meaning
Metamorphosis- dream like settings
Dislocation- placements of items where they don't typically belong
Levitation- creates the idea of suspended animation
Transparency- makes it possible to see through objects which are typically solid
Scale- changes the way we think of an objects normal size 
3.  Include one of the following:

Combine 2 or more living objects.
Combine a landscape with living objects.
Combine a landscape with technology.
